SUN TERRACE PLANTS

A terrace in the sun is a nice place to enjoy the weather. A terrace in full sunlight has hardly any limitations as far as plants are concerned. Summer bulbs, annual summer flowers, container plants, herbs and perennials: almost all of them can be put in a pot.

Annual summer flowers bloom fully one year and then go. Tub plants must be overwintered inside and perennials can stay outside all year. Perennials do need to be put in a hardy pot. Below we have made a selection of plants that are perfect for a sun terrace.

Blue plants in pots
There are many blue plants that you can put in the pots on your patio. The helitrope gives a wonderful fragrance and also attracts butterflies to your patio. The African lily looks perfect on a trendy terrace. The flowers of this plant are so beautifully pronounced in shape that they are often put in a square pot. The crested lavender is also fine on the patio, partly because of its wonderful fragrance.
